Our Story

The journey of North Star Tai Chi began in my backyard, where I first experienced the profound peace that Tai Chi brings. After years of practicing various martial arts, I found Tai Chi to be a refuge—a gentle yet powerful discipline that nurtured both my mind and body. As I delved deeper into its practice, I felt an irresistible urge to share this gift with others. The inspiration to establish North Star Tai Chi arose during a particularly stressful period in my life. I sought solace, not just for myself but for my community. I envisioned a space where people could connect with each other while finding inner peace through movement. The decision to hold classes at All Angels Anglican Church was both symbolic and intentional; its serene setting reflects the tranquility we wish to cultivate in our sessions. I've witnessed transformations in my students, from heightened awareness to improved physical health. Each person brings their unique story, making our classes an enriching tapestry of experiences.
