Frequently Asked Questions

Q1:What is the difference between mat and reformer Pilates?

Mat Pilates uses your body weight for resistance on a mat, while Reformer Pilates uses a specialized machine with springs for adjustable resistance. Both are effective for building core strength.

Q2:Is Pilates suitable for beginners?

Absolutely! Pilates is perfect for beginners. Our instructors guide you through proper form and offer modifications. You'll build strength and flexibility progressively.

Q3:How is Pilates different from yoga?

While both focus on mind-body connection, Pilates emphasizes core strength, posture, and controlled movements. Yoga incorporates more spiritual elements and flexibility-focused poses.

Q4:Can Pilates help with back pain?

Yes, Pilates is excellent for back pain relief. It strengthens core muscles that support your spine, improves posture, and increases flexibility, all of which can reduce back discomfort.

Q5:How many times per week should I do Pilates?

For optimal results, 2-3 sessions per week is recommended. This allows your body to build strength while having adequate recovery time between sessions.
