Our Story

My passion for Traditional Chinese Medicine emerged from a personal journey. Years ago, I found myself grappling with health issues that Western medicine couldn't seem to address. A friend's recommendation led me to acupuncture, and it was a transformative experience. I realized that healing transcends just physical symptoms; it encompasses emotional and spiritual dimensions as well. Inspired, I pursued my studies, diving deep into the principles of TCM. Establishing Heather MacLeod Cat(C) & Dip Acup was a way to share this healing journey with others. I wanted to create a welcoming space in Truro where individuals could connect with their wellness on multiple levels. Seeing clients leave empowered and revitalized is the greatest reward. I approach each day as an opportunity to learn and grow alongside my clients, reminding me of the interconnectedness of our health and the world around us.
