Our Story

The inspiration behind Aroon Sawat Thai Massage stems from my personal journey towards healing. Growing up in Thailand, I watched my grandmother, a traditional healer, use massage as a means not only to alleviate pain but also to connect individuals with their own vitality. As I pursued my passion for wellness, I trained for years under revered masters in the art of Thai massage. Each lesson deepened my understanding of the delicate balance between body and spirit. When I moved to Nanaimo, BC, I felt a calling to share this ancient gift with others. Opening Aroon Sawat Thai Massage was a dream realized — a space where I can bring the warmth of Thai culture to this beautiful coastal city. Every client leaves with a piece of that heritage, and for me, each massage is a sacred ritual where I share the transformative power of touch. I am thankful for the connections I’ve built through this work, and I envision my practice as a bridge between tradition and the modern needs of my community.
