Our Story

The inspiration for Long Lake Sports & Orthopaedic Physiotherapy stems from my own encounters with sports-related injuries as a teenager. Growing up in Nanaimo, I enjoyed outdoor activities that unfortunately led to repeated setbacks. It was during my recovery that I found my calling. I watched as hydrotherapy not only eased my pain but also reignited my passion for sports. I realized that this divine dance of water and movement could change lives. Determined to provide this resource to our community, I pursued advanced training in physiotherapy and opened this clinic. Each day, I am reminded that I am in a position to offer something special — a blend of personal experience and professional expertise that resonates within the hearts of my clients. It is incredibly rewarding to witness someone who has struggled with physical limitations regain the confidence to pursue their passions. This is more than a job; it is my life's mission to empower the resilient individuals of Nanaimo.
