Our Story

The seed for Okanagan Mental Health Services Society was planted years ago during a volunteer experience at a local crisis center. Witnessing firsthand the transformative power of therapy sparked a fire within me. I realized that mental health support could change lives, including my own. This realization was both humbling and invigorating. It became clear that I wanted to create a space where individuals in Kelowna would feel welcomed to confront their struggles openly. The vision was to foster an environment that prioritizes understanding over judgment. As I navigated through my journey—studying psychology and gaining insights—my drive solidified: to ensure that others could find solace and support. This isn't just about therapy; it's about weaving a network of care and community together, one session at a time.
