The inception of the McNair Unit was deeply rooted in a desire to redefine mental health care in our community. It began when a handful of dedicated professionals recognized that traditional approaches often overlooked the individual experiences of those seeking help. Inspired by stories shared within the Kelowna community, we emphasized the importance of personalized care and a collaborative approach to mental health. Each team member brings their unique perspective, drawn from personal experiences and professional training, allowing us to cultivate a diverse tapestry of insights.
