Our Story

Yoga Canada emerged from a simple yet powerful desire: to connect people through the transformative practice of yoga. I founded this studio after witnessing the profound impact that mindfulness and fellowship had on my life. My journey began in a small studio where I stumbled upon my first class, an unexpected catalyst that changed everything. Realizing the lack of dedicated spaces for yogis in our vibrant Red Deer community, I took a leap of faith. With a vision to create a warm, inclusive environment, I opened Yoga Canada, drawing from the rich teachings of my own experiences. What sets us apart is our focus on personal stories and shared journeys; each class is an opportunity to celebrate individuality while fostering a collective spirit. It is incredibly rewarding to watch members grow, share their struggles, and ultimately find strength on and off the mat. I’m committed to making yoga accessible to everyone, and it’s that belief that fuels our special events and outreach programs, bringing the joy of yoga to all.
