Our Story

I started Black Rock Therapies out of a passion for healing and the transformative power of touch. After years in a bustling corporate environment, I found solace in massage therapy, discovering how it could heal not just the body but the spirit as well. My journey led me to various global training sessions, where I learned techniques ranging from traditional Swedish strokes to modern myofascial release. I realized that healing is not one-size-fits-all; each person’s journey is unique. This understanding motivates me daily to listen and adapt my techniques to meet the individual needs of everyone who walks through my doors. I wanted to create a space where clients feel safe, seen, and valued, leading to the inception of this practice in Red Deer. Every client interaction is an opportunity to help someone reconnect with their own well-being.
