My background is intimately tied to my passion for nutrition and mental wellness. Growing up, I watched my family grapple with food-related issues that often stemmed from emotional struggles. This early exposure instilled in me a deep understanding of the intricate dance between our nutrition and our mental state. After obtaining my credentials and dedicating years to studying this relationship, I felt an undeniable urge to return to my hometown of Medicine Hat to make a difference. Kim Friesen Counselling Psychology Inc. was born out of my desire to create a space where individuals could explore their challenges without fear or stigma. Each client’s story is valuable, and my practice is built on mutual respect. I have seen firsthand how tailored nutrition counseling can foster not just health, but also self-acceptance and empowerment.
