Our Story

What drives S. Shepherds is a mixture of personal motivation and community need. I recall sitting in my living room, reflecting on the isolation that many seniors face, especially those living alone. Inspired by a dear aunt who had been a victim of loneliness, I envisioned a service that could make a tangible difference. It began as a small initiative to check in on a few community members, gradually evolving into a complete wellness check program designed specifically for seniors. I believe in the power of conversation — the joy it can bring and the comfort it can provide. Each call feels less like a task and more like a visit with a cherished friend.
