Our Story

The journey of The Twisted Body began when I, a local resident, faced my own struggles with chronic pain. After years of searching for the right treatment, I realized the missing piece was the personal connection and understanding of one’s unique body. This revelation inspired me to pursue massage therapy, not just as a career, but as a vocation—an opportunity to be the healing touch I once sought. Our center was born out of a desire to create a nurturing environment where each client feels seen and heard. Today, every element of our practice reflects that commitment. From the selection of techniques to the nurturing ambiance of our space, it’s about more than just alleviating pain; it's about fostering resilience and vitality within each individual. I wear many hats: therapist, educator, and friend, always aspiring to bridge the gap between body awareness and overall wellness. It’s this passion that drives me to keep evolving our services to better serve Fort McMurray and its residents. The Twisted Body is a culmination of my journey and an invitation for others to embark on theirs.
