Our Story

The roots of Makalia Health & Spa trace back to my childhood, watching my grandmother, a healer, offer solace to others through her touch and wisdom. Growing up in Fort McMurray, I was inspired by her gentle approach toward healing. I pursued formal training in integrative health, combining my grandmother’s teachings with contemporary practices. Establishing my own spa became a dream fueled by a deep desire to create a nurturing space for healing and self-discovery. The essence of my journey is community. Each day, I infuse that energy into my work—every client brings a unique story that shapes their need for wellness. I cherish those moments of connection and transformation.
