Our Story

Our journey began with a simple observation: many seniors in Edmonton were seeking a space that felt both welcoming and engaging. The founders of Central Lions recognized that often, social isolation could overshadow the vast potential for joy among seniors. Driven by this passion, they created a retreat where older adults could come together, share their experiences, and embark on adventures in wellness. Each program developed here reflects not only the needs of the seniors but also their interests and dreams. We vividly recall the first event we organized—a community tea that drew in more than just a few participants. The joy shared over cups of tea and stories was infectious. That moment cemented our mission: to foster an atmosphere where seniors can thrive. The dedication to personalize each offering runs deep; it is our driving force that continues to motivate us.
