Our Story

The idea for Calgary Seniors' Resource Society stemmed from my own experiences caring for a beloved grandparent. I witnessed the particular challenges seniors face, not just physically, but emotionally, during their golden years. Inspired by that personal journey, I envisioned a space where seniors could come together—not just for services, but for connection and camaraderie. We opened our doors with a communal spirit, and that initial vision continues to guide us. Each success story fuels my passion—like the gentleman who found a new purpose in our woodworking class, or the small group of women who now meet weekly to chat and encourage one another. It’s these connections that define our essence. We’re not just a wellness center; we’re a family that celebrates every step of the journey, ensuring that no one ever feels alone in their experiences.
