Ji Hong Wushu & Tai Chi College offers world-class Tai Chi and Chinese Kung Fu instruction. Founded over 30 years ago, led by Master Hong Yuan Luo and Master Jennifer Gu (Vice President of IWUF Judge Committee). Students have won medals at World Wushu Championships and World Taijiquan Championships. Training for body, mind, and soul with benefits including better health, strength, and harmony.
My journey into the world of Tai Chi began years ago, inspired by the graceful movements I observed during an outdoor festival in my hometown. The tranquility and strength exuded by practitioners awakened something in me. I realized that Tai Chi was not just a physical discipline; it was a philosophy, a way to navigate life's challenges with grace and resilience. After years of dedicated practice and training, I felt the calling to share this profound experience with others. Establishing Ji Hong Wushu & Tai Chi College was a dream come true, a place where I could not only teach but also nurture a community. Each class held at our Calgary campus reflects my belief that martial arts can be a transformative journey, offering personal empowerment and a supportive environment for growth. I am driven by the stories of my students, who come from diverse backgrounds yet find common ground in their pursuit of health and harmony. Witnessing their progression, both in skill and confidence, fuels my passion for teaching.
