My journey into Tai Chi began not just as a path of personal exploration, but as a necessity during a challenging chapter in my life. Seeking relief from stress and anxiety, I turned to this ancient practice and found profound transformation within the flowing movements and meditative focus. The subtle art captivated me, revealing its layers far deeper than mere physical exercise. Years later, my passion drove me to establish Calgary Tai Chi & Martial Arts College, where I envisioned a space for others to access this life-changing practice. I didn’t just want to teach; I aspired to create a welcoming community that nurtures both the body and mind. With every class, I’m reminded of my first steps as a novice and how fulfilling it is to guide others on their own pathways of discovery and healing. It is my honor to witness students grow in strength and confidence, much like I did.

Tai Chi is a form of martial arts that focuses on slow, graceful movements, meditation, and breathing techniques, promoting physical health and mental well-being.
No previous experience is required! Our classes accommodate all skill levels, from beginners to advanced practitioners.
We recommend wearing comfortable, loose-fitting clothing and flat-soled shoes to allow for ease of movement.
For best results, we suggest practicing Tai Chi at least two to three times a week, but you can practice as often as you like!
